umm, digisolo, i found quite a few wlans in warren. check out the parking lot of taco bell on the corner of elm rd and youngstown-warren rd. point your cantenna around for a sec. you'll find at least two aps there. there are also a lot around the block from there. i've found more in warren, actually, than in boardman or youngstown.

if anyone wants to get together for some wardriving next week, some friends and i are going to take a drive in his car with a power inverter, surge suppressor, a couple laptops and a couple cantennas. maybe we can get a couple cars and hit different areas, meet back at certain points.. dunno.

You guys should set something up for the WorldWide WarDrive in your area. You could try to cover the entire area at one time.

It seems like AP's here in New Castle then out in Y-Town. So far in about 4 days of scanning I found almost 25 APs out here in New Castle. How about a wardrive around the Sharon/Hermitage area. I was out there last night and found a bunch of AP's but didn't have the time to investigate them further. I found 1 in Wheatland (near 60/718 I think), 1 in Farrell (north of the on on Wheatland 60) and a bunch in Sharon along State St. Unfortuately I don't hav a GPS so I couldn't tell you the long/lat.

I'm taking a trip down to Ohio this week and I was wondering if any one has mapped out any AP's in the Sandusky, Norwalk, Huron area. I really don't want to drive out to Cleavland just to update my blog.

Anyone else in Columbus stumbling?

I found out that Easton Towne Center has free APs everywhere! This may be old news, but I just got my gear...went stumbling last night.

Got a questiion here.. While wardriving out in Warren earlier this week I found a bunch of warren_master (4 of them) and warren_master2 (2 of them) AP's. I found them around the County Justice Building on 422. Anyone up there know who these belong to?

WOW… I lived right by there when I was in "Come Blow Us" (Columbus). Is this free Broadband or are the AP’s just unencrypted?

Anyone near Cincinnati stumbling? I haven't been in a while; but have my 'borrowed' lucent card back and I'm gonna try it out again. I'm also setting up cAntenna's to connect my parents to my brothers house and the garage. Less than 75 yards from AP.
I'm using some of the highest quality cAntenna's available.
