I am from Findlay as well and have found more than a fair number of APs around the area. I have not found many others around this area with the same enthusiasm towards computers as myself. We'll have to get together sometime... terminal0110@hotmail.com

I'm quite near Mason, and Kings Island, so if you've got some labeled maps I'll be quite happy.

I recomend on Snider Road, there is a CHCA High School, sit in the parking lot and enjoy the free wireless! Sits on a nice fat T1 line.

Would it be safe to assume that the wireless there is for the studends that attend the school? I doubt that the administrators of the school are intending for people to use it outside of their walls. Just because it's 'open' doesn't mean it's open.

WarDriving normally doesnt entail connecting to a access point. Be sure to check with the schools administrator before using it. I have found admins that work for schools are usually pretty cool.

Heath, Ohio checking in here. A friend and I have found around 20-60 access points around town here. We are well into the 200's total for war driving around central ohio. If you live around here let me know.

If you're on Snider near Montgomery road, run up Montgomery to Columbia. There's a little family owned Coffeeshop (McNally's) that offers free wireless. They've got a great $1.50 cup'o'joe, and don't mind if you camp out for a while. I've seen regulars come in at 8 - they're still there when I drive by at 2. There are also 2 Panera Bread and a Starbucks within 3 miles. Starbucks is pay (t-mobile?), don't know about Panera - I'd rather help the little guy.

Oh yeah. If it's not obvious, this is my backyard. Check out Wigle for area code 45140.

Bringing this thread back up from the dead. Surprised I remembered my Login/Pass after all these years. Anyway, been doig quite a bit of wardriving around Northeast Ohio. Cleveland, Valley View, Independence, North Olmstead, Brookpark, Parma, Mayfield Heights, Maple Heights, Garfield Heights and others. Anyone here in any of those areas? If anyone wants my NS1 files, let me know. There isn't any GPS info for any of the AP's though.
