Thanks,

Yes, I certainly would be interested in finding a Wi-Fi connection in the SLC area during the Olympics. I'll be there the first week. Any possibilities?

slcwireless : Salt Lake City Wireless Project

Hey - Just wanted to get the word out that there is a group in Salt Lake City getting a wireless project up. Modeled after the Seattle Wireless project we also hope to have a good size free wireless network owned by the people for the people. lets see what other cliche's can I add...
Anyway the project is very much in its infancy but we do have a webpage that will actually be useful soon,

www.slcwireless.net is where u can find the basic stuff...

Also I dont know if I can advertise other forums here, but hey we're all in this together, forums.hektik.org has a wireless planning section as well. To round out our contacts for this we can also be found in the #slcwireless channel on efnet. Wait I forgot one, and Stauf is gonna kill me for it, you can also use the message board on Freshcheese dot net to get ahold of us if you would like. Thanks and hope to have you show up in our logs sometime soon - Mogwopjr
