Yo! I am. Been out today though West End. Came across 30 Lucent AP today using the Netstumbler software. Rich picking except that is as far as my knowledge goes. Can't figure out what I have to do to log on to these networks for some free internet access.

Give me a few pointers and I will trade my list for ya!

Cheers

I'm here too.

It'll be up soon.

Check www.ackers.org.uk in about a day or two.

Hi all. :)

For who it concerns (obviously, this info won't mean shit to people outside the UK...)

I went war driving (or stumbling if you like) around Kent, drove about offices and shops at about 11pm for ages, covering Parkwood, Rainham, Wigmore, Gillingham, Hempstead and Chatham.

Couldn't come up with anything... even Fuji HQ in Gillingham Business Park had nothing, same with Delphi HQ.

Hmmmm.

If you're in the South East of England, you're know what places I'm talking about. Anyone else had any finds down here? Obviously, in London, there will be shit loads, and I know there are shit loads... just taking a while for the technology to filter outwards I guess.

Can't wait to see the stuff at ackers...

Does anyone have good pointers for cheap kit in the UK, or around London in particular? There's some useful kit on Tottenham Court Road, but it's far from cheap, considering that different cards work with different software (Netstumbler + airsnort, for instance) ... ?

Spot the shop using wireless on TCR as well... mmm

You'll be pleased to know that your favourite War Driving tool for Windows was in fact written by an expat.

Hah, nice one Marius.

Just to let my fellow Brits know, ackers.org.uk be up sometime today or tommorrow. Although, the cgi for the database got somewhat screwed, so maybe without that feature for now...
