MapPoint 2004 will import delimited text. Export a summary file, clean up the fields so they are seperated with a consistent delimiter and use the data menu options to bring in the data as pushpins. You can do this in your favorite text editor, scripting language and programming language.

This is an open message to all users of StumbVerter. It will also be posted in the StumbVerter forum area.

Currently, StumbVerter works with MapPoint 2002, and has NOT been officially tested with MapPoint 2004. I have received a couple of reports that it works, and a couple that it doesn't.

Since the European version costs rather a lot of money, if someone is willing to donate a copy of MapPoint 2004 (European preferably, U.S. version is OK, I have several logs from the U.S. to test with), I will update StumbVerter to work with it.

If you are willing to donate this copy, please send me a private message, or email me at: mother AT netstumbler DOT com.

Cheers,

Mother

I converted them the same way you do with Streets & Trips, by using StreetStumbler.
After they are converted you change them to text files and import the data to MapPoint 2004

Look at the templates, I put one on WET54G and it improved qualitatively improved network performance (i.e. reduced lag on the kids' online game).

StumbVerter V1.50 with MapPoint 2004 support released

From: http://www.netstumbler.com/article.php?sid=933

The new version of StumbVerter has been finally released. It adds some new features and bug fixes, the most important being:

- Added support for MapPoint 2004. Please note that due to the differences in map handling between versions of MapPoint, StumbVerter V1.5 does NOT support MapPoint 2002. This support will require much more code to implement than simply upgrading to 2004, so it will be added in the future. If you don't have MapPoint 2004 available, please keep beta 5 until the next release.

- Added scripting, which enables batch processing large amounts of log files, automatically generating the maps and image files, etc. Details in the .zip file docs.

- Added three-level boolean filters, to show/hide APs based on certain criteria, such as signal strength, SSID, WEP status, etc.

- Fixed various bugs reported since beta 5, amongst which is the dreaded automation error, caused by a buggy installer.

Please find the download here

Comments are welcome, enjoy!

If you read carefully, StumbVerter supports ONLY MapPoint, v2002 up to Beta 5, and v2004 in the new V1.5 release.

All the other stuff you posted is irrelevant to this thread, and should be posted in the according forum. Otherwise you expose yourself to a barrage of flames.

Welcome to the forums, don't forget to read all the FAQs you can get your hands on.
