You did search right? i mean the forum search feature, typed in cabletron or roamabout?
... don't think so (I DO)

skynet Roamabout & cabletron Roamabout
i have heard there made by Enterasys.

yeh i searched high and low, and found a few threads, But nothing that helps me with the problems i am having.
And i wasnt to keen on posting a new thread to how some users reacted to my last post.
But if some users would like to help me out with my problem cards it would be great.

Also noticed this card isnt on the Working list?
so how are peoplke using them?

What is the FCC ID# of your card?

And this really needs to be in a different thread as it is going beyond the scope here.

I have an Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter. It's on the list of cards that is supported, but I do have some problems with it. Initially it works, but after a few minuttes, my wireless LAN card hangs and I can't connect to anything. I've tried to deactivate and activate the card with no luck. Only if I restart my laptop it helps. Netstumbler is cool, ...but on my PC it only last for a few minuttes.

Are you really really sure that it is on the supported list, or just on the "has been known to kinda almost work when the moon is in the third phase"?

I think if you do a little research on Intel PRO/anything, you will find your answer.

You said you cannot connect to anything after running NS for a few minutes. Did you read the documentation that states not to use NS when you are connected to a network? What networks are you trying to connect to when running NS?

Well,.........

I think you caught me. It seems I didn't read the part in the documentation you talk about. I tried what you said and I found out my NIC, still works. Thanks for teaching me a lesson. :)

Now I'll just hide in a cave for a week, beeing ashamed of myself!:o :o :o

Buffalo AirStation Turbo G WLI-CB-G54HP Does not work with netstumbler. I believe because it does not use the prism2 chipset.

Does that caard have an FCC ID #? And what does Prism2 have to do with working with NS?

I´ve just purchased a Proxim Orinoco a/b/g combo card model 8481-WD, installed drivers from web page but Netstumbler just detects my own wireless network.

With the Dlink Air DWG650 that I have (the old card), Netstumbler catches many networks, but seems that this Proxim Orinoco Card does not work with Netstumbler.

Any help¿? thx

Read the fucking readme!

Both cards are unsupported but may work.

Hi fadeawayz,
I've the same pb,I've the same driver version 6.0.0.18 and the firmware is 1.2.0.30, windows 2000 SP4, but when I launch the sw I received the same messages "no wireless adapter found", do you have solved the issue? Any idea?
