I believe this is the message you meant to quote so that others would know what you're talking about.

Do you think he's going to reply? I mean, my gosh, it's been over two years since he posted that.

How do you solve your problem? Buy a card that is properly supported.

Card: Senao NUB-362(EXT)

I have a problem: NetStumbler doesn't show more than 50 APs active. When "APs active" reaches up to 49, it is immediately varies on "No APs active". It starts to scan again only when I connect to other AP or replug card. It does not depend on time of scanning or data transmission.
After few times of restarting scanning NetStumbler shows more than 100 discovered APs.

PS. Sorry for my poor English =)

You may want to search as I believe this is a known bug where the card's internal buffer is filled and doesn't recognize any more APs.

This a problem with the driver and the card not Netstumbler.

It's not a supported card. And an unsupported OS which makes your post pointless!

heee, in the faq, it says... The following are rules of thumb that you can follow in case you cannot reach the web site for some reason.

This version of NetStumbler requires Windows 2000, Windows XP, or better.

so vista probably work no??? if not... i'll wait for the next version! ;)

thank you anyway...

I wouldn't call Vista "better".

3Com OfficeConnect Wireless 108 Mbps 11g USB Adapter (3CRUSB20075) is not working with Atheros (why not? only NDIS 5.1 is okay).

Update: Who don't unterstand that... which hardware -> it does not play a role. NetStumbler shows me Atheros but Atheros does not run. Easy still when man clicks that.

P.S. I am sorry because i can't perfect english. And i'm deaf.

This statement makes no sense. Please clarify it.

Have a problem with NetStumbler 0.4 and not sure why? I have followed your instructions in Help Guide and still not works. Mine is Compaq Presario M2105CA with Broadcom wireless card inside the laptop also my operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional with SP-3 with all the updates. When I hit the key " Scanning " and got the error message below

The services cannot be started, either because it

Not sure what is the rest of the sentence be above after " it "

Thank you,

John

Broadcom is unsupported as the manufacturer does not disclose driver internals. If you cannot get the generic NDIS driver to function then you are out of luck. This has been discussed. The software is several years old and currently deprecated. If you use anything but the supported cards you may get varied results. Have a nice day.

It's like fishing or killing kittens. Get them all warm and comfy then kick them around a bit before you stomp on their heads.

Here's to getting that image out of you head!
