Since our requests for features ended up jumbled all over the place, and I am such a neat freak, here is your newfangled bungalow for begging.

Aaww, here it goes!

Things I would like to see in future versions of NetStumbler:

Support for multiple cards

Ability to select which channels/bands the cards scan from within NS

A button to start/stop the WZC service.

Support for the latest Agere Orinoco drivers (windows_drivers_sr02-2.3).

Passthrough for GPS to another virtual port.

External OUI list so we could update the vender database.

Fix of the Orinoco Classic crashing (Good luck)

And here's the list of assinine suggestions.

Night Mode so you don't have to keep the laptop open.

Click to Connect button.

Support for every POS device made, with proper SNR reporting.

Exact AP location finder.

Encryption Determination (WPA or WEP)

I don't expect any of these to be integrated.

That issue needs to be addressed by the Department of Redundancy Department.

I'll second that one and add RF monitor support.

Plus retention of more startup, configuration and display settings... like window size, location etc.

How about in order to download Netstumbler you have to pass a basic IQ test. It would sure cut down really stupid newbies coming around.

Like putting the download file on a server behind a Wi-Fi AP with SSID broadcast turned off and 128-bit WEP enabled?

Those buttons should be one of those IQ test questions.. They have to match the shapes in sequence.

Include a set of 3 download buttons, 1 labeled with leet speak, 1 with AOL speak/missing punctionation, and one using proper English. Selecting either of the first two would redirect them to [make choice] and ban them automatically.
