Like theres no need for the smart comments everytime. I always thought forums were made to be an enjoyable place for all? Dosent really seem the case.So would anyone like to answer the original post (Which I acknoldege was a mistaken double post),is there a Windows alternative for SoftAP,

Yes there is an alternative, Get an Orinoco Gold and then go to driverguide.com and download the driver that will allow the card to run in AP mode. It's there I have it on one of my PCs. I can only say it puts the card in AP mode, I haven't tested it beyond that.
