five.

The beta version of the AirPcap 2.0 driver is available for download.

The new driver includes a new capability called the Multi-Channel Aggregator, that exports multiple AirPcap adapters as a single capture stream. The Multi-Channel Aggregator consists of a virtual interface that can be used from Wireshark or any other AirPcap-based application. Using this interface, the application will receive the traffic from all the installed AirPcap adapters, as if it was coming from a single device.

Another feature of the AirPcap 2.0 beta driver, in conjunction with the just-released Wireshark 0.99.4, is the improved support for WEP decryption.

The new driver can be downloaded from

We'll be happy to hear any comments or suggestions you may have.
Best regards,

Loris Degioanni

AirPcap sounds more and more interesting.. Imagine 13 AirPcaps listening to each their channel, and presenting the data as from one adapter to Kismet.

Anybody got hold of one yet ? Or know what chipset or FCC id the device has ?
