The FCC ID # is NHPWLG1203

FCC ID is also in your "I want your FCC ID Numbers" thread.

I have two very local Marvell distributors (both within 5 miles of my house) via phone, and both have told me to talk to Encore, the main office in California, or the sales office in Texas.

I spoke with some Indian lady in Sales in California, and was told to ask Encore for it.

I spoke with some Caucasion man in Texas, and was told to e-mail him, and he'd pass the request along to someone who might be able to help me.

Never once did they say "sure, you can have it if you pay $xx.xx for it." Had they said those words, I'd have asked them which they preferred, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

You could say that yes indeed, I have called around.

This is the company that makes the card. Check out their lovely support page!

Chances are you're not going to get anywhere with them until you register via their website for Extranet Access and sign and return an NDA as per their instructions.

Thank you. Now, how do I instigate Marvell to take me seriously and send me an NDA? It's like they're not taking me seriously.

BTW, as per the gal I spoke with on the phone, the NDA is used for protecting their documentation located on their webserver. She was shocked to hear that I downloaded the generic drivers without registering, as if those shoulda been under lock and key too.

Go figure.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm actually getting the popcorn ready because I think he's nibbling on the hook.

Actually I don't even see the reason for the exercise.

After all its a PCI card and a dedicated solution can be purchased for under $30.

Just as I thought, a $10 USB dongle that includes AP emulation.

Its small (55 x 22mm), discrete and will work with either notebook or desktop.:p
