Except for the fact that the program uses intellectual property belonging to another company, without licensing it, the program looks good. I'm not so sure that WildPackets will like this, and they might send in the corporate lawyers.

I do especially like the preface in the tutorial :
NetDetect tutorial wrote: http://www.freakfiles.de/?site=2

English translation :
Introduction - First of all, for all the "H4xx0r", "1337's" and similar types : WarDriving has nothing to do with "cracking" networks! Even if the WarDriving-Community does do research into codingtechniques related to the security, WarDriving in it self is pretty harmless. The typical WarDriver drives a car or bike along streets and detect networks. These networks isn't used or "cracked into", they are just plotted onto maps and uploaded to internet databases in order to gain "points". Okay - In reality pretty stupid, but there are also people who collects things like stamps.

I will try to put the program through its paces this weekend, and post a short review.

Read the disclaimer at the bottom of every page of the forums. Here the mods ARE gods.

If you refer to the disclaimer... It says "...Distribution of licensed and copyrighted materials in any way not endorsed by the copyright owner is strictly prohibited. ..."
I don't know if this is legal, so i want this to be removed.

Guess nobody ever reads the fine print these days. But then, none of the newbies that come here ever read the welcome desk too so I doubt they'd read the fine print anyway.

It does work well on my PCI Atheros card!
I grabbed PEEK.DLL/PEEK5.DLL from here http://www.personalwireless.org/tools/aircrack/ and Wildpackets driver 4.2 http://www.wildpackets.com/support/product_support/airopeek/hardware.
I probably won't use it much if at all but it's nice to know there is a free(other than the drivers?) passive tool that can be used in winderz.

You did remember to click on the donate button to help keep the site running that allows people the chance to download files and tools like that right?

Sphincter? That must have been thinking about after viewing your avitar G8tK33per.:o

I'm pretty sure I meant 'sprinkle' but that last keyboard had a faulty R key or something.
