hi,

i am new to this forum, so here goes. I am trying to use MAC OS X to capture and reinject packets. Unfortunately, kismac cannot do this at present, and am investigating other options - like using parallels and Backtrack.

Has anyone got any suggestions on what the best way to reinject on MAC OS X is at the present moment ? I have a D-LINK USB DWG-122 (revb1) card.

thanks

Parallels has USB device sharing, IIRC, so you were on the right track with Parallels/Backtrack. Give it a try, it should work. (Damn, wish I had an intel Mac). The DWL-G122 B1 should work in KisMac too.

After the last week fighting vmware, you're going to have some problems with usb devices and any virtual machine on a mac. Some stuff just works, others the host os won't let go of the device so the virtual machine can use it. Might see if the guys on the parallels forums can help.
