Hi everyone,

it is possible to use netstumbler on Mac OS X,
because I've heared that it can run Unix Applications...
And if yes, can I use the Apple Airport Card.. :-\

Thanks,
Steffen

No, you cannot run netstumbler on os x.
netstumbler is not a unix program.
even if netstumbler was a unix program, it is not completely true that you can run unix programs in os x, this is a shaky issure, and if you don't have enough experience to know this, you wouldn't be able to get a unix program to run.

If you are looking for a unix/linux program, look at kismet (http://www.kismetwireless.net)

I've been testing Kismac on my new tIbook and for an alpha product I've gotta admit I'm pretty impressed.

I still say Kismet needs a nice front end like this!! Then again, nothing beats the plain console look... :)

Thank you

You're right.... KisMAC is getting better each release (Currently Version F)
Mac Stumbler is also great, but needs an update soon... Kismac is currently better :-)
