Premium WLC010 WEP problems

I recently bought one of these Prism2 cards. It's called a Premium 802.11 WiFi card, model WLC010.

The drivers and utility installed fine on my Win2K laptop but when I set the WEP key, it no longer connected to the Access Point (Cisco 350).

I keep getting this message in the AP log:
----
Station 0090963a0677 Failed Authentication, status "Unsupported Authentication Algorithm"
----

I've been doing searches on this model on the web but not much luck, except that once it was sold by Dynalink and it is the chipset form Intersil. I can't find any other drivers/utility/firmware except what came on the CD with this.

Has anyone else seen this message on an Access Point, if so what was the resolution?

Thanks in advance,
MP

... and here is the answer for anyone that has had this problem.

If you go into the Adapter Properties, click on Configure (for the adapter), go to the Advanced Tab and select Authentication Algorithm it has 2 options:

Must use Shared with WEP
WECA compliant (always use)

The driver sets it to the first choice when it's installed. Changing it to the second selection fixed the problem.

I started Netsetumbler and it saw the card right away. Seems good. I saw this card on for $23 here:
