Search. You might be surprised at what you'll find.
Maybe everything you need.

I own Forums for other activities so first thing I did was search.
From what I have read I need a AP in Client mode.........question is ......what one is best.....And is there mods needed to conect it to the Roof mount antenna

"Best" is always subjective. It depends on what you're looking to do as the end result. If you want to scan for APs in a given area, like in the link above, then you can do it with a laptop or desktop card. If you want an AP as a PtP client, then that is something completely different, and would not need a rotor.

Many APs require little or no modifications to change the supplied antenna for a different one. Others require extensive modifications. It depends on the brand.

As to which antenna, same thing applies: What is you want to do as the end result?

End result what I want......Scann the area with roof mount antenna. Find sutable Access .......And use it through a AP in Client mode..

Define "find suitable access".

That is theft of service. You are a thief. You are the type of person that gives us all a bad name.

Pay for your service. Don't steal it from your neighbors, local businesses, etc.

Furthermore you are an idiot who has just admitted to wanting to commit a crime on a public message board that logs the IP addresses of posters. Perhaps for your next trick you can tell us (and any law enforcement officials who happen to be reading) of any other crimes you have commited.

Moron. Perish.

I'm sorry, Chris...

I'll give you a '10' for the accuracy of your information, but I'm afraid you'll only get a '6.2' for style in your flame. :D

'Crashoverkill'? Someone's been watching 'Hackers', and bastardized one of the character names; I can't quite place which one, though. Irregardless, I think I'll just shorten that name to 'Cok'. No, wait; needs another 'c' to make it an accurate description. Dumbass.
