Wireless Internet With Dongle

I am looking for a way to get my 'normal' dongle to go wireless. I don't have a landline nor am I in a cabled area so my dongle is my lifeline, I have a pretty good deal and more than enough data for my usage. My only complaint is that I can only hook up my laptop, tablet etc. separately.

Is there a way to turn my dongle into a hotspot like I can with my smartphone? I came across this http://www.www.gobabymobile.com/products/internet/3g-mi-fi-dongle-dock.html 3G Dongle MiFi by Go Baby Mobile and wondered if i'm right in thinking that this would do the trick?

This sounds new for me! How's your connection right now? Nearly everyone these days has a laptop or hand held device they can use to connect to the internet while they are out and about. And totally free WiFi hotspots are accessible at increasingly more businesses and public venues. The temptation is great, but there can be severe security risks to using these generally-unsecured connections.

Wireless communication is the transfer of information between two or more points that are not connected by an electrical conductor. The most common wireless technologies use electromagnetic wireless telecommunications, such as radio. With radio waves distances can be short, such as a few metres for television or as far as thousands or even millions of kilometres for deep-space radio communications. It encompasses various types of fixed, mobile, and portable applications, including two-way radios, cellular telephones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and wireless networking :) http://binaereoptionen.wordpressy.pl/
