It would be very cool to support RFMON on Pocket PC.
Unfortunatelly, I don't have much experience with device driver development but I'm pretty good at Windows programming.
17hz, if I can help your project in some way please let me know.

p.s.
I have an iPaq rx3715, ministumbler is not working on it.
The application that I'm currently using is WiFiFoFum.
The chipset on rx3715 is tnetw1100b and there is some linux driver available for this chipset : http://acx100.sourceforge.net/
Familiar (linux for iPaq) is not yet supported on this iPaq model.

Thanks, I have an iPAQ 4100 series device that also have a tnetw1100b device. I've also learned by talking with various other developers that this device DOES have an rfMON mode. I'm referencing the source code of the acx100 linux drivers and have had a few conversations with one of the authors. At this point i'm looking at using this device for my work. I'll contact you privatly to figure out what your developer expertise are to see where you might fit into the project. I had a very good weekend of work on this; I found all sorts of information and am further along on my way.

Considering the thread has been dead for almost a year and there was a suggestion to move the project out of the forum discussion into Sourceforge, etc. I think it would do you better to contact the original author rather then to provide a useless *bump*. As it only causes the moderators to get very angry as your post offers no reason as to why the thread should be brought from slumber.

firstly I was hoping I might get some of the trademark netstumbler forum abuse which I now gladly receive, thank you very much.

Also you might notice the topic is a question which I had hoped might be answered by either the author or the other contributers to the discussion. I have already attempted to contact the author, and done a thorough search of sourceforge.

The author has not posted on this forum for some monthes so I do not expect a reply.

However there may be others on this forum still interessted in the project, as one post has already appeared here it would seem pointless to start a new one, so I thought I would gauge the interest levels by "bumping" the old topic.

I'm sorry if this offends your sensibilites I can understand it must be hard for you to see more than the normal 5 topics in the last months posts. If I could do anything to repay the great effort it must take you to iggnore this topic I would. Tragically there is nothing I can do, so you may as well suck my knob.

Well ya see, here's the problem. As Beakmyn so nicely pointed out, it anger's the mods, since it is their responsibility to read every single post that is made. And you posting something stupid as a bump just wastes their time.

I'm quite sure that after your last sentence is read by one of the mods, we won't have to worry about reading your posts anymore.

Awh, I love hate mail, especially when my post is far from abusive. I just made observations and suggestions. It appears that you still have nothing to add to the project in question other then a "I'm to damn lazy to research this or add any insight so I'll just see if you've done anything yet".
