Warchalking display mode?

Since a number of us are now running this on small video screens mounted in cars, it would be nice if there were a full-screen warchalking display mode. Perhaps display the warchalk symbols for a few seconds, and then return to a default display summarizing the number fo APs found and their open/closed status, and perhaps speed of the vehicle as calculated by GPS.

Since you posted this in the section for things related to the website :

I take it that you want the website to display a warchalking symbol, everytime you are logged in, when you are in your car ??!?

As for warchalking, I can tell you that it is something that isn't done by any of the wardrivers I know. I think you'll not find any of the regulars on this site has ever "warchalked", nor will they ever do that. There was even a poll regarding warchalking, 3 years ago, and 100% of the answers said they'd never ever warchalked.
Warchalking implies that you want to gain access to a detected AP, or make it easier for others to gain access to a detected AP. Thats not what wardriving is about, as you would have figured out, if you had read the threads in the Welcome Desk section and the FAQ section.
You should go and read them now, while the readers of this thread are ROFL'ing over your suggestion.

If Daniel was here I couldn't care less, I'd whup his ass while he still tried to get into the Crane stance..
If Mr. Miyagi was here though, I'd be scared shitless.. Not so much because of his ability to kick ass, but rather because he died last year in november....

:D

Thank you EasternPA it's been a long day baby is hitting the "nearly terrible twos" and I needed a good laugh. Are these your friends?

Wasn't warchalking really a viral marketing ploy? One of the earliest examples I believe just as pretarded as Sony paying kids to graffiti ads for the PSP
