I remember one of the mods stating a while back that the bin isn't searchable by bots. Can we have a thread that is just email addresses of idiots that spam the board? Maybe give them a taste of their own crap? Just something that the bots can get to and spread to spam lists.

IMHO, it would be a waste of time since 99% of the tards that spam the boards are using throw away accounts from yahoo, gmail, aol, etc.

But they'd still have to wade through a pile of crap to get to the idiots that actually respond to the mail.

It would also make a nice repository for those addresses you pick up occasionally and want to return the favor of filling your mailbox.

Sweet - thanks!
There were some posts in the welcome desk & B/S/T/S rooms earlier - looks like they were deleted rather than binned.

If there's anything better in life than an inbox full of Japanese spam, I don't want to know what it is. Thank you Streaker for making it all possible.:)

Some times it is possible to give the spammers info to another spammer causing them to spam each other. I hate spam, unless it is thinly sliced and overcooked in bullseye until crunchy.

Spammers get other spammers info all the time. When they buy the mail lists, they get each spammer that had that list before in that list since each spammer adds their e-mail address to the lists that they send out so they can verify that the spam is getting through, when they are no longer getting the spam then they sell the lists, move IP's/ISP's, etc.

I know EXACTLY how they work because I found a few invite only spammer message boards and SE'd my way into them a couple years ago. I was given copies of all the different software they use, all their secrets, tips and tricks, etc. They found out who I was after a month but by then I had everything I needed. Plus the #1 spammer in the world is based about 45 minutes from me and I know people who's worked on his network. He knows who I am and avoids me like I have aids and for good reason.

I also have lists of all the IP blocks they use for 90% of their spam and have them listed in my firewall so they can't even think of connecting to my smtp servers. It's rare that I even see what spam looks like anymore.
