Card or driver for the HP IPAQ 4700

I have downloaded ministumbler and the program runs great except it will not recognize my wireless. I have read the forum, the supported cards and realize that my internal wireless is not supported currently. Is any person working on a new driver for HP internal modems? Does anyone offer a driver that will work with the IPAQ 4700?

Does any think that HP IPAQ's will be supported in the future?

I have seen several people get flamed on this forum for asking very relevant questions. If you have a flaming comment about my questions, please ignore my posting and do not respond.

So you searched and didn't find an answer you like, so you're asking the same question again? That makes a lot of sense. To answer your question, no there isn't a driver that will make your internal wireless work. If it has a cf card slot then you might be able to get some cf wifi card to work, but I have no clue what that would be. If you can find an older 5000 series and a pcmcia sleeve then you can use an Orinoco card to make it work.

Thanks for the information. I was just hoping that someone would have something my searching did not find.

Unfortunately, someone cannot read and is already posing nasty comments.

Had you not made the comment about getting flamed, and said that you did search and couldn't find anything, no one would have made too much a big deal about it.

Ministumbler doesn't use a modem.
