Has anyone modified a USB wireless G adapter?

I want to try modifying my USB wireless adapter so it is connected to a bi-quad antenna. The little antenna inside these things seems hardly adequate to get any kind of decent signal out of it. I've identified the antenna that is soldered to the circuit board but would like to find a website or someone else who has done this before. I'm sure I'm not the first one to have wanted to try it.

Google is no help as it just brings up a bunch of advertisements.

Google-fu in this one weak it is. Plugging words "external antenna USB" in search field for forum he must.

Thanks Scruge. I built a single biquad antenna and the improvement is amazing. I didn't even use 50 ohm coax to make the lead connections and it is a few db short of being on par with my laptop's internal wireless card. I'm planning on replacing the bare wire leads with 50 ohm coax and expect to see even better performance. Couple it with the parabolic dish I have and it should be pretty impressive. :)

Not only is it a zombie, but it's spam. Removed with extreme prejudice.

Arrgh. Not only is this asshole using NS in his ads, but he don't know what the fuck he's talking about. It really is too bad there isn't a bounty on spammers.
