Hi,

I'm planning to use a Ubiquity Bullet M2 HP + a 8dbi omni antenna to share the internet with about 20 people. Is it a good plan?

Here's some pictures with an example of the setup :

Will this be enough to handle casual internet browsing and email checking for 20 persons?

how far away will all 20 be is the real question. a 4 dbi antenna can handle 50 users if they all sitting in a room.

dbi and wattage = range. Add some height to the antenna helps too.

They will be withing 400 feet. The antenna will be on the roof of a one story house. My concern mostly is : Will the Ubiquity Bullet M2 HP be able to handle the traffic?

Antenna's don't "handle traffic". The antenna shapes the signal, and therefore affects the range. Go back and read what Starpoint said. Four hundred feet is possible under some circumstances, but if you're asking questions like "can antenna can handle traffic?" it sounds like you're probably in over you're head. Suggestion: get some help to properly do your signal engineering.

The AP is what handles the traffic. Most SOHO will handle 32 users, but some will only handle 8, and some will handle 256.

Assuming that the AP will handle the number of users you anticipate, then you have to consider the traffic throughput. Throughput will be affected by the number of users on at one time, and what traffic each user is generating. 256 users, all working on Word documents and checking email occasionally, won't slow down anyone else. However, a single user downloading an HD movie might slow everyone else to a crawl if you don't configure the traffic shaping correctly.

Cell phone jammer is an interesting and helpful device when we don’t want to be bothered by the cell phone noise. I just bought myself a cell phone jammer the other day,it is working great and BTW, it’s legal here in my country.
