Version 3.0 of AirMagnet Surveyor is supposed to be released soon, maybe in march? The currently latest version available v2.5 is already a great software, I wonder what new features 3.0 adds? Anybody here who´s heard anything about that? I´ve heard something about extended support for MS MapPoint, not sure in what way, maybe some automated import/export function?

I already use MapPoint maps for my GPS-calibrated scoutings around our premisses hunting for rogue AP:s It works very well, found one the other day. The rascals thought they were invisible just because they didn´t broadcast their SSID. They know better now.

Downloaded it today. Among the new features are:

Support for Centrino ABG (I´ve got that in my Tablet PC!)
MS MapPoint integration for GPS (I´ve got MapPoint installed!)
3D Graphical Data Display (Nice)
And some other improvements and bugfixes.
