Fuck me up the ass... I guess I should have paid closer attention. I saw the listings at the bottom of the page and thought that EVERYTHING on the page was discontinued. (don't know why THAT didn't raise a flag or two....meh.)

What's the difference. They haven't updated the software for mine in 3 years.

The last for the Legend is Feb 2005 - and I think it has some bugs that the earlier release didn't. I had to reboot the dang thing TWICE while in Denver to get the uploaded maps to re-show on the display. It was like it 'forgot' that it had the detail maps in memory, and only showed the built-in basemap.

As I've said before, what really pisses me off is the inability to get the stupid rubber outer rim band for the thing. They always tear at the connector cover point. I saw a display at Target that had fake units that were just the case and a glued in picture behind the display window. I felt like ripping the band off that one and taking it home to fix mine.
