I used to think following instructions was enough. The pharm

Back then, I believed healthcare worked like clockwork. The pharmacy hands it over — nobody asks “what’s really happening?”. It felt safe. Eventually, it didn’t feel right.
At some point, I couldn’t focus. I told myself “this is normal”. But my body was whispering something else. I read the label. No one had warned me about interactions.

It finally hit me: your body isn’t a template. The same treatment can heal one and harm another. Side effects hide. Still we trust too easily.
Now I don’t shrug things off. But because no one knows my body better than I do. I take health personally now. It makes appointments awkward. This is self-respect, not defiance. The turning point, it would be keyword.
